Tad Van Norden is a partner in the Global Finance Department of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP, resident in the New York Office.
Mr. Van Norden represents commercial banks, institutional investors, investment banks and agents in a wide variety of complex U.S. and cross-border financial transactions, including secured financings, securitizations and institutional private placements. Mr. Van Norden has extensive experience representing issuers, arrangers and managers in structured financings (in particular, collaterized loan obligation funds and other securitizations of financial assets), representing investors in cross-border and domestic private placements of debt and equity securities, and representing lenders and borrowers in the financing of acquisitions and other leveraged transactions. Mr. Van Norden also has experience in corporate restructurings and workouts, project financings, credit default and total return swaps, and letters of credit.
Mr. Van Norden is a 1988 graduate of Duke University and a 1991 graduate of The University of Pennsylvania, where he received his law degree and was a member of the Editorial Board and a Comment Editor of the Law Review. Mr. Van Norden was a law clerk for the Honorable Warren W. Eginton of the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut in 1991-92. He is a Fellow of the American College of Investment Counsel and a member of the American Bar Association. |
