Born on February 26 1952. Graduated in Accounting Sciences from Tibiriçá School of Accounting Sciences. He started his career in January 1968 at Banco BCN S.A. a financial institution merged into Banco Bradesco S.A. in December 1997. He held all positions of the hierarchical scale of a bank. In October 1989 he was elected as Director and in December 1997 as Executive Vice President position held until March 2004. In February 2003 he was elected as Executive Vice President of Banco Bradesco S.A. position currently held. He also participates in the Administration of other Companies of Bradesco Organization. He is Member of the Managing Body and Managing Director of Fundação Bradesco and Member of the Board of Directors and Managing Director of the Foundation Institute for Digestive System and Nutrition Diseases (FIMADEN). Besides these activities he is Vice-President of the Brazilian Association of Housing Loans and Savings (ABECIP) and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Brazilian Securitization Firm (CIBRASEC). He was Executive Vice President of Banco Boavista Interatlântico S.A. Banco Mercantil de São Paulo S.A. Banco Zogbi S.A. and of Potenza S.A. Processamento de Dados. He was also Member of the Board of Directors of BCN Corretora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários S.A. and Officer of the financing institution BCN S.A. Crédito Financiamento e Investimentos. |
