Mr. Shah has successfully managed and turned around multiple organizations across diverse industries such as business services, information technology, marketing, publishing and apparel distribution. Mr. Shah began his career at Salomon Brothers, where he supported the firm’s derivatives trading and research group and was principally responsible for the successful turnaround of Orange County’s derivative investment portfolio. From there, he moved to the $200 million international marketing services company, Trans National Group, where he served in several positions, eventually rising to Vice President of Corporate Development. While at Trans National, he was recruited to Internet Venture Works, a venture operating services firm owned by several top ten LBO firms, where he served as managing director. While at The Staten Group, Mr. Shah has distinguished himself as a builder, leader and problem solver, restructuring and reorganizing companies that have returned great value for their shareholders. Mr. Shah holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Yale University and a Master’s of Business Administration from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
