Nigel graduated from Oxford University in 1978 having studied PPE. He spent the first 11 years of his career working in the City, both as a shipbroker and corporate financier with a leading merchant bank. In 1989 he formed and led a management buy-in of a leading caravan manufacturing company based on the South Coast. This business was sold in 1995 at which stage he was asked to take control of a packaging company that was in financial difficulties. He completed a successful turnaround of the company, which was sold in 1998.Since that time he has been involved in running several other packaging companies as well as acting as an NED of a medical equipment company and Chairman of an AIM listed technology business. |
