Nicole M. Lanzalotti is an associate in the firm's Litigation Department, whose practice concentrates on insurance litigation.
Nicole represents several national insurance and annuity companies in cases involving the transfer of structured settlement payment rights. Nicole represents insurers in addressing attempts by factoring companies to purchase structured settlement annuity payments and advises clients concerning statutes recently enacted in several dozen states governing structured settlement transfers. Nicole's experience includes the successful representation of insurance and annuity companies in disputes arising out of the transfer of structured settlement payment rights in various jurisdictions throughout the United States.
In General. Nicole received her B.A., summa cum laude, from La Salle University in 2000. While at La Salle, Nicole was awarded several academic honors and became a member of the Alpha Epsilon, Alumni Honor Society. Nicole received her J.D., cum laude, from Widener University School of Law in 2003, where she was on the Dean's Honors List, a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and a member of the Phi Delta Phi, Harrington Inn, Honor Chapter. While in law school, Nicole served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Richard B. Klein of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. Nicole also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Joyce S. Kean and the Honorable James J. Fitzgerald, III of the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, Pennsylvania.
Nicole is admitted to practice in the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Supreme Court of New Jersey.
Nicole is a member of the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Philadelphia Bar Association. Nicole is also a member of the Justinian Society. |
