Nicole M. Jorge is an associate in the Family and Probate Law Group. Prior to joining Casner & Edwards, LLP, Ms. Jorge served as an Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County. While there, she acted as a Special Assistant District Attorney responsible for investigating the potential civil commitment of Sexually Dangerous Persons. Ms. Jorge also served as a prosecutor in multiple District Courts and acted as the supervisor of the Ayer District Court and the Cambridge District Court. Additionally, Ms. Jorge investigated and prosecuted narcotics distribution cases, public corruption cases, and white collar crimes for the Superior Court Special Investigations Unit. Ms. Jorge was the recipient of the 2004 Martha Coakley Award for outstanding service. Ms. Jorge obtained her J.D. from Western New England College School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Jorge served as an intern for District Court Justice Mary Hurley Marks and also participated in the Hampden County District Attorney’s Prosecution Clinic, where she prosecuted cases as a Student Attorney certified under S.J.C. Rule 3:03. Ms. Jorge is a graduate of Franklin Pierce College where she received a B.S. in History, cum laude. She was also the recipient of History Department Clio Award in 2000. Ms. Jorge is a member of the bar in Massachusetts. |
