Nicole Riley, a non-lawyer professional, serves as Government Relations Specialist for LeClairRyan’s Administrative Law and Government Relations team. Ms. Riley assists our clients by representing their interests before the Virginia General Assembly and various state agencies and providing insight on Virginia’s political process. Ms. Riley brings ten years of extensive legislative and political experience to LeClairRyan. Ms. Riley served both Attorney General Jerry Kilgore and current Attorney General Bob McDonnell where she directed the office’s legislative activities including the passage of over 140 pieces of legislation related to Internet safety, eminent domain, identity theft, domestic violence, economic development, emergency preparedness, and regulatory reform. As the Attorney General’s liaison to interest groups, trade associations and corporations, Ms. Riley established a wide array of relationships in the governmental community.
