Nick Roelofs is vice president and general manager of the Life Sciences Solutions Unit (LSSU) within Agilent's Life Sciences and Chemical Analysis group. His organization provides solutions for the life science markets which include genomics proteomics research and disease understanding and pharmaceutical drug discovery and development/QA/QC. He has product development responsibility for liquid chromatographs capillary electrophoresis microfluidics and mass spectrometry.
Roelofs joined Agilent from Bio-Rad where he was Group Operations Officer of the protein separations and analysis genomics and food science business. Prior to Bio-Rad Nick was the Chief Operating Officer at Stratagene. He brings 19 years of experience in the Life Sciences and Diagnostics industry where he has held several roles in R&D business development and business management.
Roelofs holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Nevada and an MS in Organic Chemistry from the University of Iowa. |
