Biography
A 1990 graduate of Harrison High School, Mr. Whelan graduated with honors from Olney Central University in 1992 and was an Academic All-American (NJCAA). He then attended the University of Southern Indiana, where he graduated with a bachelor of science degree in accounting in 1994. Mr. Whelan joined Kemper CPA Group LLP in January 1995, and completed the CPA examination in November of the same year.
Mr. Whelan has extensive experience in the areas of accounting and auditing as well as income taxation, with a specialization in the audits of nonprofit organizations and multi-state corporate and individual tax filings.
