Nicholas M. Berg is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm’s Chicago office. He is a member of the Trial Department.
Before joining McDermott, Nicholas served as a summer associate in a large New York law firm.
During law school, Nicholas served as a law clerk at the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Human Rights in Washington D.C. He also clerked for the Uniform Law Commissioners in Chicago, Illinois, and the Minnesota Civil Liberties Union in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Nicholas also served on the American Criminal Law Review and published a law review note, Turning a Blind Eye to Innocence: The Legacy of Herrera v. Collins.
Nicholas is admitted to practice in Illinois and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
