Nick is responsible for SDI’s World Wide Automotive Business with P/L responsibility for the Company’s facilities in Moorpark, California, Mesa, Arizona, Bangkok Thailand, Japan, and Germany. Mr. Bruge joined the Company in October 2000 as Vice President and General Manager of Mesa Operations. In 2002 Mr. Bruge was responsible for the start up of a new Thailand operation. He was promoted to his current position in December 2004. In 2006 he was appointed to Chairman of SDI/ Molan Supervisory Board for the European Joint Venture. Mr. Bruge has twenty years of pyrotechnic experience, Six-Sigma/Lean, start-ups, and technical turnaround; including over eight years of airbags start up and launch. He managed a multi-million dollar operational budget with sales exceeding $250 million for TRW Vehicle Safety Systems automotive airbags division, in various capacities. Mr. Bruge also has international experience including three years as Vice President of Operations for RSI Home Products, the world’s largest producer for Home Depot and Lowes. Mr. Bruge has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology specializing in Automotive Technology from Arizona State University. |
