Dr. Nga L. Tran is a Senior Managing Scientist at Exponent’s Food & Chemicals practice. Dr. Tran has more than 15 years of experience in environmental and occupational health risk assessment and management in the private and public sectors and academia. Dr. Tran has worked on a wide range of issues including health surveillance strategy at the Department of Defense (DOD) cleanup sites chemical and radiation risk harmonization at the Department of Energy’s (DOE) cleanup sites methodology for assessing and prioritizing environmental health threats to military personnel deployed overseas environmental insurance risks probabilistic exposure/risk assessment dietary exposure assessment product stewardship industrial hygiene and epidemiology. Prior to joining Exponent Dr. Tran was a faculty member at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health where she conducted research and taught exposure and risk assessment risk prioritization and risk harmonization. Dr. Tran remains an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the University. |
