Neville Cullen, Director of Dietary Services A professional with more than 30 years experience in the food service industry, Neville Cullen joined Senior Living Residences in 2002 as corporate Director of Dietary Services. He is responsible for the oversight of budgeting and purchasing, on-site labor, menu planning, customer service training, and food service quality assurance for SLRís communities. Mr. Cullen coordinates the companyís food service with an emphasis on special dietary concerns and compliance with applicable regulatory standards. Prior to joining SLR, Mr. Cullen operated the Inn at South Newfane in Vermont for five years, increasing sales in the first year by 300%. He was also employed as the Bank of Boston Executive Chef for eight years with responsibility for haute cuisine for executives, guests and foreign dignitaries. He also served as Food & Beverage Manager and was promoted to Account Operations Manager for Bank of Bostonís Executive Conference Center, with 17 rooms, seating for 300 guests and gross sales of $1.2 million. Mr. Cullenís professional affiliations have included membership in the American Institute of Chefs (AIC), for which he served as treasurer in 1967-68. He is currently a member of the Massachusetts Assisted Living Facilities Association (Mass-ALFA). Mr. Cullen has received many awards during his career, including several from Sodexho (best operations and best client sales) and numerous awards for excellence from the Bank of Boston. A native of England, he received his City Guild Culinary Degree from Norwich Technical School in Norwich, UK. He is certified in total quality management, CPR, and as a sanitarian. |
