Nell Mathews focuses her practice in the areas of employment, real estate, and general business and commercial law. A seasoned litigator, Nell has successfully handled matters in all forums and regularly practices in both state and federal courts. Her specialty is proactive strategies to quickly resolve matters both simple and complex and maximize success so as to exceed client expectations.In addition to an active litigation practice, Nell shares her knowledge and helps other lawyers maximize their potential. She has written numerous articles and seminar publications addressing a variety of employment, real estate, intellectual property and other business-related legal issues. She regularly presents at employment law, intellectual property and business litigation seminars for clients as well as other attorneys.Nell is active in several professional organizations. As a member of Defense Research Institute she is currently one of 12 national attorneys developing and overseeing substantive civil trial programming.Active in her community, Nell served for a decade as a city council member for the community of Minnetonka Beach, was a member of the City’s planning commission, and was a member of the Hennepin County Women’s Political Caucus where she served as treasurer from 1988-1990. She is a member of PEO, the Hamline Women’s Legal Caucus and currently serves on the board of the Lafayette Country Club.Early in her career, Nell served as a law clerk for the Honorable Allan Oleisky, Hennepin Country District Court. |
