Neda Khatamee is a Managing Director in Major, Lindsey & Africa’s New York office. Since becoming a recruiter in 1998, Neda has specialized in the placement of attorneys at laws firms and corporations in a broad range of areas including corporate, real estate, litigation, labor and employment, bankruptcy and intellectual property. She has substantial experience in placing Intellectual Property attorneys.
Neda has been highly successful in placing partners and associates with top-notch national, international and regional law firms and has placed numerous attorneys with Fortune 100 corporations, mid-size corporations and pre-IPO companies throughout the United States. She has a deep understanding of the legal market and the needs of attorneys who are seeking new employment.
Prior to Neda’s legal recruiting career, she practiced corporate law in New York, New Jersey and California. She began her legal career as a judicial clerk for a Superior Court judge in New Jersey. She was later General Counsel for a French-based company with offices in New York and California. She graduated cum laude from New York University with a B.A. in art history and was recipient of the Founders Day Award. She received her J.D. from Widener School of Law.
Neda grew up in New Jersey and has lived in New Orleans, California, Pennsylvania and Europe. She returned to the New York metropolitan area upon graduating law school and has lived here ever since. Neda enjoys ballet, traveling, wine tasting, golf and the arts, and is fluent in Farsi. |
