Ned I. Gerstman is an executive vice president and chief domestic investment officer for The Chubb Corporation. He is responsible for domestic investments.
Mr. Gerstman joined Chubb's investment department in 1987 as a senior portfolio manager. Before joining Chubb Mr. Gerstman worked for the Continental Corporation from 1985-1987 where he was responsible for life insurance investments and strategy as well as managing Continental's Government Securities Mutual Fund. Prior to that he worked for Chase Investors Management Corporation where he was responsible for quantitatively based fixed income portfolio management structuring liability funding solutions for Fortune 500 pension funds.
Mr. Gerstman currently serves as the chairman of the investment committees of both New York Property Insurance and the American Nuclear Insurance Company. Mr. Gerstman studied electrical engineering at Cornell University and received a B.S. in finance from New York University. |
