Neal West, 47, is responsible for the company's accounting and financial reporting activities.
Before joining Gateway in April 2005, he spent nearly 20 years at APL, Ltd., an Oakland, California-based global shipping and logistics company, where he served most recently as vice president and controller for APL Logistics, Ltd. During his tenure, West played a key role in day-to-day operations, with particular emphasis on financial planning, reporting and merger and acquisition activities. Previously, he served as division controller at Standard Pacific-Illinois Corp.
West earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and business administration with minor in economics from Illinois State University, and holds a master's degree in information systems from Roosevelt University. In addition he holds a certificate in management accounting and is a certified public accountant. |
