Dr. Gordon is a veteran of over 17 years in the biotechnology industry serving both in product development and as a senior executive. From 1998 to 2004, Dr. Gordon was at Antigenics Inc, first as Vice President of Process Development and then as Senior Vice President of Manufacturing Operations. Dr. Gordon joined Antigenics in 1998, following 10 years at PerSeptive Biosystems, now part of the Applied Biosystems Group of Applera Corporation. As part of the founding technology team, he led the development, application and market launch of innovative technologies for the purification and analysis of proteins, including the BIOCAD perfusion chromatography workstation. Earlier he was a product development engineer at Proctor & Gamble. Dr. Gordon obtained a Bachelors Degree in chemical engineering from McGill University, and a Ph.D. in biochemical engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. |
