Dr. Zaidi has over 15 years of experience in high-end microprocessor design and development. He started his career with Intel Corporation in 1990 where he led Pentium's hardware emulation team. He managed the architecture and design of IA32 support on Itanium Processor and also drove the design and development of the external and back-side busses. Dr. Zaidi also co-founded Nexsi Systems in September 1999. Nexsi Systems developed two very large, state-of-the-art packet processing and fabric chips, which were used to develop multi-gigabit integrated Firewall, VPN, Load balancing and SSL acceleration products. Dr. Zaidi holds 24 patents with an additional 15 pending in the area of high performance processor design and has numerous publications. |
