A recognized innovator in emerging technologies, Nav Gosal joined Care Fusion in 2001. He has more than 15 years experience in designing and implementing mission-critical enterprise systems, and is an expert in systems enabling the use of wireless handheld devices for real-time data communications and transactions. Gosal is responsible for aligning Care Fusion's technology vision with its business strategy by integrating company processes with appropriate technologies. He has overall responsibility for technological planning and development, and oversees all aspects of software development, as well as technical and customer support. His mission is to ensure timely and efficient delivery of quality software products that meet customer needs. Before joining Care Fusion, he worked at Aether Systems, a wireless communications innovator. As senior product manager for the Baltimore firm's enterprise product suite, he developed Aether's Scout Web product. Prior to Aether, Gosal was a senior product development manager at Orbital Imaging Corporation, where he designed and deployed several large-scale communication and information systems. Orbital, a leading global provider of Earth-imagery products and services, honored Gosal with its Outstanding Technical Achievement Award in 1999. A member of HIMSS, Gosal earned a bachelor of science degree in computer sciences from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute (Virginia Tech) in Blacksburg. |
