Nathaniel T. Browand is an associate in the Intellectual Property Practice Group and the General Litigation Group in the New York Office of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy LLP. Prior to joining Milbank, Mr. Browand was associated with Morgan & Finnegan, LLP.
Mr. Browand's practice focuses on patent litigation with an emphasis in the electrical, computer-related and mechanical technologies. He has written numerous opinions on patent validity, infringement and freedom to operate involving aircraft design, optical technologies and internet-based systems. He has drafted and prosecuted patent applications involving mechanical devices, computer software and electrical products.
Mr. Browand is admitted to practice in the State of New York and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
Mr. Browand received his B.A. in Physics and in Philosophy from Wesleyan University in 1999 and his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2004, where he was managing editor of the Boston College Environmental Affairs Law Review. |
