Nathan W. Bear was born in Illinois. He earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California at Berkeley in 1998, where he was the recipient of an Alumni Scholarship. Mr. Bear then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as a management consultant, advising Fortune 500 companies. He also worked with venture-backed software companies, each of which was acquired by publicly traded corporations. In 2006, Mr. Bear earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of San Diego School of Law. During law school, Mr. Bear competed as a member of the National Mock Trial Team, served on the Board of Pro Bono Legal Advocates, interned as a prosecutor with the San Diego City Attorney, earned CALI/AmJur awards for his scholarly achievement in both California Civil Procedure and Labor Law, and served as a judicial extern to Justice Richard D. Huffman of the California Court of Appeal. Upon graduation, Mr. Bear was presented with the Honorable Gerald Brown Progress Award. Mr. Bear gained admission to the California Bar in 2006. His practice focuses on complex securities litigation. |
