Dr. Nathan J. Karch is a Principal Scientist in Exponent's Health Sciences practice. He has more than 30 years of experience identifying and resolving complex environmental and public health issues including personal injury toxic tort and product liability litigation exposure and risk assessment of multimedia pollution risk ranking regulatory policy hazardous waste site evaluations product development and registration regulatory comments hazard communication compliance and materials handling. For over 17 years Dr. Karch was president of Karch & Associates Inc. a firm specializing in toxicology epidemiology and risk assessment. He directed the health and environmental staff of the Council on Environmental Quality in the Executive Office of the President of the United States and served on the staff of the National Research Council the staff arm of the National Academies of Sciences and of Engineering. |
