Natasha Volyanskaya joined American Capital in 1999 as an Associate and was subsequently promoted to Vice President and to Principal. She is responsible for originating, executing and managing investments in middle-market companies across a variety of industry sectors, including consumer products and specialty retailing, software and technology, business services and general manufacturing. While at American Capital, Ms. Volyanskaya has been involved in over twenty financing and leveraged buyout transactions, investing in excess of $600 million. She has served on the board of directors of American Capital portfolio companies Automatic Bar Controls, Aeriform, Cycle Gear and The L.A. Studios . She is also a Director of the San Francisco chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth.
Ms. Volyanskaya began her career in investment banking in New York. She spent two years as a Financial Analyst with the Technology Group at Merrill Lynch & Co., where she participated in a total of $2.8 billion in equity offerings and $1.7 billion in M&A transactions, advising clients in the software, IT services and telecommunications industries. Ms. Volyanskaya received her Bachelor of Science in Finance with High Honors from the Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley in 1997. |
