Natalia V. Blinkova is a partner in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm’s Washington, D.C. office. Natalia is a member of the Intellectual Property, Media & Technology Department
Natalia’s practice emphasizes patent litigation in the United States district courts and the International Trade Commission, as well as appellate advocacy before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. Throughout her tenure at McDermott, Natalia has worked on numerous appeals, analyzing legal issues and authoring briefs. In 2004-2005, Natalia extended her focus on appellate law by serving as the chief law clerk to the Honorable Paul R. Michel, Chief Judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Natalia holds a bachelor of arts degree in the history of art from Yale University, a master of arts degree in Slavic studies from Cornell University, and a juris doctor degree from the Georgetown University Law Center. While at Georgetown, Natalia was a member of the Georgetown University Law Journal.
Aside from patent litigation, Natalia also represents clients in political asylum cases on a pro bono basis. Natalia is admitted to practice law in New York and the District of Columbia, as well as before the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit
