Nancy Burke is a partner in the firm's Health, Education and Cultural Institutions Group. Ms. Burke has been practicing law since 1987 when she joined Chapman and Cutler LLP. She has devoted substantially all of her time to the field of tax-exempt bond financings for healthcare, educational and cultural institutions. She serves as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriter’s counsel. Ms. Burke has worked on a wide-range of tax-exempt financings throughout the country, and has served as bond counsel to state authorities, cities, villages and counties. Among others, she has served as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel or special corporate counsel on bond issues for the benefit of The University of Chicago Medical Center, the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Providence Health System, Mount Sinai Medical Center, Northwestern University, The University of Chicago, Loyola University of Chicago, DePaul University, Illinois Institute of Technology, University of Notre Dame, The Art Institute of Chicago, the Shedd Aquarium, The Adler Planetarium and the Field Museum of Natural History. |
