Nancy-Ann DeParle has been a Director since April 2006. Ms. DeParle is a Managing Director of CCMP Capital Advisors LLC. Previously she had been a Senior Advisor for JP Morgan Partners and an Adjunct Professor at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Previously she served as the Administrator of the Health Care Financing Administration (HCFA) (now the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services) from November 1997 to October 2000. Before becoming Administrator of HCFA Ms. DeParle was the Associate Director for Health and Personnel at the White House Office of Management and Budget from 1993 to 1997 and served as commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Human Services from 1987 to 1989. She also has worked as a lawyer in private practice in Nashville Tennessee and Washington DC. Ms. DeParle is a director of Cerner Corporation and DaVita Inc. Ms. DeParle is a trustee of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and serves on the Medicare Payment Advisory Commission. Ms. DeParle received a B.A. degree from the University of Tennessee a J.D. from Harvard Law School and B.A. and M.A. degrees in Politics and Economics from Balliol College of Oxford University where she was a Rhodes Scholar. |
