Nadine C. Smith Ms. Smith has served as a director of Patterson-UTI since May 2001 and served as a director of UTI from 1995 to May 2001. Ms. Smith is a private investor and business consultant. During the past ten years, Ms. Smith served as president of several companies, including, most recently, Final Arrangements, LLC, a company providing software and web-based internet services to the funeral industry. Prior to that time, Ms. Smith was an investment banker with NC Smith & Co. and The First Boston Corporation and a management consultant with McKinsey & Co. Ms. Smith is a director of Gran Tierra, an independent international energy company involved in oil and natural gas exploration and exploitation.
