Dr. Nabil M. Lawandy serves as President, Chief Executive Officer, Chief Technology Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors for Solaris Nanosciences Corporation and Spectra Systems Corporation. From 1981 to 1999, Dr. Lawandy was a tenured full professor of Engineering and Physics at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Lawandy also served as the President and Chairman of the Board of SpectraDisc Corporation, a former subsidiary of Spectra Systems. Dr. Lawandy holds a B.A. in Physics from The Johns Hopkins University, an M.S. in Chemistry from The Johns Hopkins University and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The Johns Hopkins University. He has authored over 170 reviewed scientific papers and is an inventor on 40 issued patents. Dr. Lawandy has also received a Presidential Young Investigator award, an Alfred P. Sloan Fellowship, a Rolex Award for Enterprise and a Samuel Slater Award for Innovation. |
