Dr. N. J. Rajaram serves as the Vice President - Global Quality, at Intelligroup, based out of Hyderabad. He carries the mandate of taking the organization to higher levels of process maturity and more importantly integrate the global organization in terms of quality and process maturity.
Dr. Rajaram has over 19 years of experience in various capacities; primarily in the areas of Software Process Improvement and Institutionalization of best practices. His roles have also entailed IT strategy formulation, IT planning for business adaptability, Systems Design, Project Management, and Business Reporting. He has also been involved in Implementation, Consulting, Research and Academics in Software Quality.
His last assignment was as Head of Corporate Quality at Syntel Inc where he steered Syntel to level 5 maturity level of the SEI CMMI quality model and played a lead role in various initiatives like the BS 7799, SAS 70, SOX 404, AS9100 and ISO 9001:2000 accreditations. He has also served as the Chief Technology Officer at Aptech Ltd; Associate Professor of IT at NITIE, Mumbai and Joint Director at NIC.
He holds a Ph.D. in the area of Software Quality Assurance, from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India. He was awarded the Dr. Deepak. K. Merchant Memorial prize for the best PhD from IIT Bombay, for research in Software Quality. He did his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, from J.N.T.U., Hyderabad, and his M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, from Osmania University, Hyderabad. He also has a PG. Diploma in SQC & OR from Indian Statistical Institute, Calcutta. He has several publications to his credit and is a certified ISO Lead Auditor, a Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) and a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP). |
