Murali Menon is vice president of enterprise application engineering at ConnecTerra, responsible for the integration of the ConnecTerra technology platform into the enterprise. Murali has been a founder and technical advisor to several high technology startups and venture capital firms in the Boston area.
Most recently Murali was vice president of engineering for the sourcing division of Ariba, Inc., where he was responsible for the sourcing product that automated the RFx process with support for complex online auctions and negotiations. Murali was the CTO and founding member of SupplierMarket.com, which was acquired by Ariba. SupplierMarket.com developed an automated direct materials sourcing and collaboration solution for manufacturing buyers and suppliers.
Murali has extensive R&D experience working as a senior researcher and program manager at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's Lincoln Laboratory in pattern recognition and machine vision. He has two US patents in pattern recognition and image processing.
Murali received a bachelor's degree, a master's degree and a doctorate in engineering from Case Western Reserve University. |
