Muffett Mauche George, PE
Associate / Environmental Team Leader
Ms. George has 19 years of civil/environmental experience and has worked with Foit-Albert for ten years. She specializes in environmental engineering and is versed in State and Federal environmental laws, regulations, and policies.
She oversees a team of environmental professionals, completing environmental services for a wide variety of private and municipal projects and clients. She manages environmental studies on Brownfields projects in Western New York. Ms. George oversees the compilation of Design Report / Environmental Assessment and has completed the Hazardous Waste / Contaminated Materials Screening Reports and Hazardous Waste Assessment Studies for numerous NYSDOT projects, as well as federally funded, locally administered projects.
Ms.George has extensive environmental permit experience, having sucessfully prepared environmental permit applications for complex municipal and private projects.
She also oversees completion of the SEQR / NEPA review process on a wide variety of architectural and civil engineering projects. Ms. George has her 40-hour OSHA Health & Safety Certification for Hazardous Waste Sites and her NYSDOL asbestos inspector and designer certifications.
