Morgan is a Managing Partner of the firm and brings over 15 years of experience with information technology companies as an investor, investment banker and finance executive. He focuses primarily on investments in application and infrastructure software, with an emphasis on security, data management and data integration. Morgan currently serves on the Board, or is a Board observer, of Actional, Gamma Technologies, Immunix (acquired by Novell), Saqqara, and Siperian. Prior investments and Board seats include NetSec (acquired by MCI), Security Focus (acquired by Symantec) and Sanera Systems (acquired by McData). Before joining ArrowPath, Morgan was Vice President of Corporate Development and New Ventures at E*TRADE Financial. Prior to E*TRADE, Morgan was CFO and Vice President of Business Development of Urbanite Systems, a venture-backed Internet software company. Prior to Urbanite, Morgan was a Principal at Volpe Brown Whelan, where he was head of the firm's healthcare technology investment banking group. He was also a member of the technology investment banking group at Alex. Brown & Sons. Morgan received his B.A. in History from Wesleyan University and M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. |
