With over 25 years of experience in both national and regional public accounting firms, Mr. Kane’s expertise is in a wide diversity of industries, including real estate and condominiums, health care, professional service firms, entertainment, manufacturing, distribution, forensic, accounting, and estates and trusts. After being appointed to a national task force of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, (AICPA), Mr. Kane co-authored the AICPA Accounting and Audit Guide for Common Interest Realty Associations. He is a frequent lecturer for continuing education for CPA’s in the areas of accounting, taxation and consulting services. Mr. Kane also heads up the firm’s litigation support services division.
An active community leader, Monte has served on the Board of Governors of the Florida Institute of CPA’s and is past president of its Dade County Chapter. He has also served on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations. Mr. Kane holds a Bachelor degree in Accounting from the University of Florida and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Florida International University. |
