Monisha (Mo) Deka is an associate in Dykema’s DC office. Her practice focuses primarily on patent and trademark prosecution, litigation, and client counseling. She has experience in a variety of technological fields, including logistic methodologies, RFID technology, circuits, human computer interfaces, and mechanical devices. Ms. Deka's practice further includes Section 337, Unfair Trade Practice proceedings before the International Trade Commission.
While in law school, Ms. Deka served as a law clerk intern for the Honorable Jeffrey Howard of the United States First Circuit Court of Appeals.
As an undergraduate at Georgia Tech, her studies centered on incorporating logistics into mechanical and computerized systems. While an undergraduate student, Ms. Deka was employed as an engineer in a PECO nuclear facility, and in manufacturing facilities of the Johnson & Johnson subsidiary Noramco, and Kraft Foods North America.
