Mohsin is a seasoned technology innovator with a proven track record of delivering large-scale enterprise systems and web services. His work is being used by tens of millions of users worldwide and has proven to provide unprecedented degree of scalability and reliability. Before joining NextAxiom, Mohsin spent seven and a half years at AOL/Netscape leading numerous product initiatives as Director of Technology, Web Products and Infrastructure. At AOL, Mohsin was responsible for development and deployment of a number of large scale high availability services from the ground up. Most notable of these include a next-generation internet advertising platform responsible for delivering ads worth over US$400 Million, a real-time alerting platform delivering notifications to more than 60 million users via IM, email and mobile phones, military-grade two-factor authentication and encryption service, multi-client calendaring infrastructure, and an access-control service for digital rights management. Prior to AOL, Mohsin held various senior technical and management positions with three successful start-up companies: AtWeb Inc. a Sequoia-funded company acquired by Netscape Communications, Scopus Technologies Inc. acquired by Siebel Systems and GeoWorks Inc - a publicly traded company. Mohsin is the inventor of nine patent-pending technologies and holds a Bachelors degree in Computer Science from the University of California at Berkeley. |
