Professional Experience
Ms. Eskandari-Azari is one of the Firmīs Intellectual Property professionals practicing in both IP litigation and IP transactional work. Her IP litigation practice includes patent, trade secret, trade dress, trademark, and copyright disputes. Ms. Eskandari-Azari has represented a multinational corporation in protecting its patent rights from infringement. She successfully assisted several entertainment and technology clients protect their copyright and trademark rights. She has also represented several individual artists in protecting and commercializing their intellectual property.
Ms. Eskandari-Azariīs transactional practice focuses on the procurement, protection and licensing of intellectual property rights, including trademarks and copyrights, and the enforcement of these right on the internet. Ms. Eskandari-Azari searches and clears trademarks, prosecutes both domestic and international trademark applications, and represents clients in opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She also advises clients in the naming and branding process, manages domestic and international trademark portfolios, and negotiates and drafts licensing deals of intellectual property rights.
Ms. Eskandari-Azari also has experience with traditional business litigation matters, including disputes involving business contracts, shareholder derivative actions, and class action defense. She has represented individual and corporate clients in both federal and state courts.
