Mitchell joined Seegrid from Brooks Automation (NASDAQ: BRKS) where he was the CTO. Mitchell came to Brooks after the strategic merger of Brooks with PRI Automation. At PRI, Mitchell served as CTO and VP of Strategy/ Technology, overseeing growth from $20M to $450M in annual revenues between 1994 and 2002.
Mitchell was President and and Founder of ProgamMation Inc., and Co-Founder and Chief Engineer of United States Robots.
Mitchell is the co-author of Industrial Robotics: Technology, Programming and Applications, 1986. He holds 16 patents and several academic and industry awards including Industry Week's Top 50 R&D professionals.
Mitchell has an SB from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Graduate Certificate in IP from Northeastern University. |
