Mitchell H. Saranow was appointed to the TDS board of directors May 6, 2004. He is the chairman of The Saranow Group, a private investment firm he founded in 1984. Since 1984, Mr. Saranow has served as chairman, chief executive officer, chief financial officer and/or other capacities of various companies with operations in the United States, Europe and Australia. Mr. Saranow, who has also practiced as an attorney and is a certified public accountant (CPA), is currently on the board of directors of Lawson Products, Inc., which sells and distributes maintenance products and services, and North American Scientific Inc., which manufactures medical devices. Mr. Saranow is designated an "audit committee financial expert" as defined by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). |
