Mitch Billing is a respected entrepreneur, businessman and dealmaker. Mitch joined Chapman Associates after a 22-year career in various service industries. During his career, he served as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer and President of several significant privately owned middle market companies. Two of these companies were honored on Inc. Magazine's list of the 500 Fastest Growing Private Companies in the United States. Mitch has an outstanding record of delivering results for Chapman clients. He has consistently been able to negotiate deals that equaled or exceeded a client's original asking price. In recognition of the ecstatic reviews that he has received from satisfied clients, Mitch has received the Chapman Associates' "Deal Maker of the Year Award" for three of the past four years. During his career, Mitch has been actively involved in the valuation of hundreds of businesses and the acquisition of over 30 companies. Prior to joining Chapman Associates, Mitch played a lead role in the sale of one company that grew from $20 million to over $80 million in revenues in two years. A large part of this growth was attributable to strategic mergers and acquisitions that Mitch helped arrange. As Managing Director of Chapman's New England office, Mitch brings a unique perspective to the merger and acquisition business having been an operator, buyer and seller of successful middle market businesses. Since joining Chapman Associates, Mitch has represented a wide range of clients including companies in the manufacturing, wholesale distribution, business services, marketing, communications, healthcare, and building material industries. Mitch earned his Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Stony Brook. He earned his Masters in Business from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Originally from the Northeast, Mitch, his wife and two daughters split their time between New England and Florida. Mitch is an avid tennis player, sports enthusiast, reader, and traveler. |
