Mitchell D. Hollander is a partner in the firm's Corporate, Business and Securities practice group. Mr. Hollander has experience in representing and advising a variety of clients including private and public companies (which vary from OTC to NYSE listed companies), not-for-profit entities and banks. He has substantial experience in corporate transactional matters including, but not limited to, private and public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate takeovers, such as proxy contests and tender offers, corporate financings and restructurings and securitized loan transactions.
Mr. Hollander is a graduate of Lehigh University (B.S. degree in Accounting, 1985) and Brooklyn Law School (J.D., 1990). While attending law school, Mr. Hollander acted as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Cornelius Blackshear (United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Southern District of New York) and received the American Jurisprudence Award for excellent achievement in the study of Debtors' and Creditors' rights.
Mr. Hollander is also a C.P.A. with "Big Five" accounting and tax experience. Mr. Hollander's accounting and tax experience in analyzing and structuring business transactions is valued as an asset by our clients. He is an active member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Mr. Hollander is a member of the Business Law Section of the American Bar Association and is a member of the Association of the Bar of The City of New York. He is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey. |
