As Executive Vice President of Business Affairs and Development, Mimi is responsible for sourcing, negotiating and closing MLG’s strategic deals; MLG’s merchandising and licensing strategy and execution; and the general business affairs of the company. Prior to joining MLG, Mimi spent 4 years at AOL as Executive Director of Programming Business Development, where she headed AOL’s Entertainment Business Development group and was responsible for all of AOL’s Music, Radio, Television and Movies content and programming deals. She played a key role in launching the award winning AOL Music Video on Demand channel on Time Warner Cable and was instrumental in bringing the Live 8 concerts to AOL. Prior to AOL, Mimi spent 6 years at BMG (now SONY BMG Music Entertainment), as Senior Director of Legal & Business Affairs, where she focused on new media deals, video game development and publishing agreements, corporate transactions, and strategic marketing agreements. She also provided strategic guidance and counsel to BMG’s labels and foreign affiliates regarding BMG’s pioneering online activities related to the digital distribution of music and represented BMG on the Board of Directors of SoundExchange and various RIAA committees. Mimi holds a B.A. in English from Wellesley College and a J.D. from Fordham Law School. |
