Milo Medin has been part of the Internet development community for more than 25 years. He was a founder and the Chief Technology Officer of Excite@Home, recognized as the largest broadband services provider of its time. Prior to founding Excite@Home, Mr. Medin worked at NASA, where he directed the National Research and Education Network and managed the primary west coast interconnects for the Internet as well as architecting and managing the global NASA Science Internet. He was also instrumental in establishing the TCP/IP protocol as an industry and government standard. Mr. Medin is part of Technet's CEO Broadband Policy Task Force. He has participated in a number of Public Policy forums, including two National Academy of Sciences panels, and has given testimony in Congress and before the Federal Communications Commission. |
