Mike Zaramba is senior vice president of Stanley, Inc. He is responsible for the development and implementation of Stanley's corporate strategy initiatives and strategic investments. Mike joined Stanley in 1992 as a senior accountant and during his fourteen-year tenure, he has served as controller, vice president, chief financial officer, and corporate treasurer. In 2004, he was promoted to senior vice president.
Before joining Stanley, Mike served in various operations and administrative positions in the maritime industry. A former licensed ferry boat captain, he operated cruise vessels in and around the New England seacoast area. He also participated in a national fundraising tour aboard the former Presidential Yacht, the USS Sequoia. His base of vessel operations experience led to progressively more responsible vessel management and administrative roles-ship manager, worldwide operation of five U.S. Naval oceanographic ships, accounting manager, and contract manager.
Mike holds a B.S. in management/industrial engineering from the Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from the University of Maryland. He is a member of the Professional Services Council and Financial Executives International. |
