As the director of Account Management at DDC, Mike Young leads a team of account directors and managers who provide overall business relationship-management services for DDC’s clients. The Account Management team serves as the primary point of contact to their assigned clients and is responsible for ensuring overall client satisfaction, providing information on DDC products and services, facilitating the collection and communication of new product and service requirements, and supporting all other strategic activities associated with the client.
Young has eight years of account management experience serving in mid-sized software and public affairs-technology companies, as the business relationship manager for Fortune 100 clients, associations, and membership-based marketplaces. Prior to joining DDC, Young served as an account and customer success manager at Verticalnet, a leading provider of end-to-end supply-management solutions. Young developed, implemented, and managed customer satisfaction programs with over 3,000 Verticalnet customers who represented a vast cross-section of industries leading to an increase in customer satisfaction of over 20 percent. |
