As a co-founder of STHI, Mike is the President and CEO. In this role, he provides strategic direction and sales, business management, project management and systems engineering. Mike graduated from Oregon State University with a BSEE and has taken many graduate courses in Engineering Management and Advanced Signal Processing from Santa Clara University and UCLA. Mike started his technical career as a Systems Engineer for GTE Government Systems in the heart of Silicon Valley where he designed and developed electronic warfare, electronic surveillance, and threat simulation systems for interesting military applications. He moved to Hawaii in 1989 and worked on several information systems consulting and networking projects before forming STHI. Mike is best known for building strong engineering teams and for his ability to select the best of breed technologies and solutions long before they are the status quo. This allows STHI to gain the respect of the best network and information security vendors in the world as they all approach us first to represent them. |
