Mike Steele joined Kirkpatrick Oil Company in 1994 as Landman and Gas Contracts Manager. He subsequently served as Land Manager and in 2006 was named President.
He launched his career 30 years ago as a field landman in western Oklahoma. He later joined Tenneco Oil Company as Senior Landman with responsibilities that included Kansas and northwest Oklahoma. He later accepted a position with Joseph B. Singer Oil Company which expanded his duties to include the management of the company’s mineral holdings.
Steele graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Petroleum Land Management. He is a member of the Oklahoma City Association of Petroleum Landmen and the American Association of Professional Landmen. |
