Mike Peplow serves as Senior Vice President and President of Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA)
for BancTec. A member of the Executive Leadership Team Peplow reports directly to the Chief
Executive Officer J. Coley Clark and is accountable for the general management of BancTec European
Operations including sales delivery and business management.
Peplow joined BancTec as Business Development Manager in June 1997. In 1999 he was promoted to
Sales and Marketing Director before becoming Managing Director of the UK in September 2000. During
his tenure at BancTec Peplow has been in charge of developing the BancTec UK and European
organization including extending the company’s expertise into new areas of electronic document and
data management. His extensive experience in various management and business development
responsibilities has made Peplow a key contributor in identifying and developing new markets and
opportunities across Europe.
Prior to joining BancTec he served in a number of programming strategic support and consultancy roles
in the IT industry since 1981 with organizations such as ICL and Hatton Blue now London Bridge
Software.
Peplow holds a bachelor’s degree in Aeronautics and a master’s degree in Business Administration from
The Manchester Business School.
