Mike brings over twenty-five years of diverse experience in the logistics/distribution field to Echo Bridge Home Entertainment. Previously, Mike held numerous leadership positions of Fleming Companies, Inc. While in his most recent position as Director of Operations in the La Crosse, Wisconsin facility, Mike and his team of over seven hundred employees successfully managed over forty thousand unique items in multiple facilities, totaling one million square feet of warehouse space. Newcomb also led numerous cross-divisional, process-improvement projects throughout his career. One such project resulted in his team receiving the "Chairman's Award" for operational and customer service excellence. In 1999:2000, Mike was General Manager of the Internet fulfillment operation for Amazon.com in Kentucky. This operation boasted state-of-the-art technology and was an integral part of Amazon's start-up success in large-scale internet fulfillment. Mike also led Six Sigma implementation initiatives in the Kentucky facility. Mike has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Missouri Southern State University. |
