Michael Mitchell, Executive Vice President and General Manager of Sony DADC, is responsible for all plant operations deployed in support of all optical media formats. Additionally, he is responsible for operational matters at Sony DADC’s manufacturing locations in Canada, North America, Mexico and Brazil. Mr. Mitchell began his career with Sony DADC in 1984, as one of the original members of the Sony DADC engineering team that was charged with the start up of North America’s first CD optical disc plant. He has since held positions in design engineering, production management and engineering management. Before joining Sony DADC, he was with Martin Marietta Aerospace (now Lockheed Martin) where he produced flight hardware for the space shuttle program. Mr. Mitchell holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and is the recipient of eight patents relating to electronic, optical disc and production technologies. |
